Claiming is the process of adding your Web3 domain to your own crypto wallet. When you purchase a web3 domain, we will automatically mint the domain onchain and place it in your own Unstoppable Lite wallet or the wallet you designate as your minting wallet.
You can set up an Unstoppable Lite Wallet for free after checkout on the Account Settings page while signed into your account, or you can claim the domain to your own self-custodial wallet. You can see how to select your designated minting wallet here if you would prefer to have the domain go directly to your chosen wallet. Your minting wallet can be a self-custodial wallet of your choice or the Lite wallet.
Once your domain has been successfully claimed and transferred to your wallet, it is yours forever and no third-party can make changes to the domain or take it back from you.

Claiming/Transferring to your own self-custody wallet
Go to the "My Domains" and click on the Domain you'd like to move to your own wallet.
On the left-hand side, scroll down to "Transfer". You will want to copy and paste your wallet address that you want to use manage the domain. Please be sure to check all of the boxes. Then select "Transfer Domain" to confirm this change. Once complete, you will be able to access the full management options. Please connect your wallet to your account.
