List for sale from another registrar (without transferring)

Modified on: Tue, 23 Sep, 2025 at 10:56 PM

Step by step

  1. Go to the list for sale without transferring page. Here, you can type in or upload a CSV of the domains that you want to list. You can configure your listings via CSV. Both methods support a maximum of 5000 Domains:

  2. Copy the TXT verification record we give, and submit your domains and their prices:

  3. Log in to your registrar’s control panel. For each domain you want to list, add the provided TXT record to verify ownership. If you’re managing multiple domains, consider using bulk actions to add the record across all of them at once. Many registrars also offer “domain presets” or templates—these can automatically apply the required TXT record to any new domains you register, saving you time in the future. If a hostname is required, enter @. If a TTL value is required, enter 3600:

  4. We check your domains for the TXT records at least every hour for the first 24 hours, so don't worry if it takes a little while for us to verify your listings. There is no need to wait for record propagation. This will happen automatically. If your listings weren't approved, check to make sure you correctly submitted the right domain name and that you properly updated the TXT record. You can check to see if your TXT records were successfully added with a tool like this one

Potential buyers will see the Domain on the Unstoppable Marketplace and can purchase the Domain directly from our website. A full guide on how to purchase a Domain from the Marketplace can be found here

Once a Domain has been sold, the seller will be prompted to transfer the Domain into our platform. This guide covers the process of transferring the Domain into our platform. Most registrars have a 60-day hold, meaning you can not transfer a Domain to a new Registrar within 60 days of registration or transfer-in.

Once the Domain has been transferred into our platform, we will automatically push the Domain to the new owner's account. Upon transfer-in, the deal is closed automatically, and the sales balance payout is issued to the seller (minus the 3% Marketplace fee), while the buyer will receive the Domain. No further manual actions will be required from either party. The new owner will need to reverify the ICANN contact information associated with the Domain.
