You can now transfer 60+ Web2/DNS TLDs into our platform and tokenize to use your domain across both Web2 and Web3! Transferring in is easy to do, just follow the steps below:
1. First, please ensure your domain has been unlocked at your current registrar. Below, you can see how to check if the domain is unlocked at:
2. Then, you will also need to turn off Domain Privacy. Here is how you can do that at:
Please note: It is essential to disable privacy for your domain prior to initiating the transfer in process.
Why are we asking you to disable privacy?
Disabling privacy is required because you will need to be able to receive an email to authorize the transfer. The only way to do so is via the authorization email that will be generated and sent to domain's registered email with a link to perform the authorization.
If privacy is not disabled, your authorization email will be sent to a privacy-masked email such as [email protected] which you would not have access to. If the email authorization is not accepted, the transfer will not be successful.
The authorization email that you will need to accept will come from [email protected].
Within the ICANN WhoIs lookup, you can confirm privacy has been fully disabled before initiating your transfer: https://lookup.icann.org/en/lookup
3. Once your domain has been unlocked and the privacy has been disabled, go to your "My Domains" page here at UD and click "Import Domains" > "Traditional DNS Domains":
4. Enter your domain name and authorization code. Your authorization code can be found on your current domain's hosting platform. Here is a guide on how to locate it on:
