How to Use Bulk Actions

Modified on: Mon, 6 Oct, 2025 at 9:57 PM

Unstoppable Domains allows you to manage multiple domains at once using bulk actions.

On the My Domains page, when you select more than one domain, an Actions tab appears at the top of the list. Clicking this tab lets you perform several updates or configuration changes across multiple domains at the same time.

Below is an overview of all available bulk actions and what they do.

1. Auto-Renewal

Enable or disable auto-renewal for selected domains in bulk. You can also update the payment card associated with your renewals.

Note: Web3 domains can be selected but will be ignored, since they do not have renewal pricing.

2. Edit Nameservers

Update the nameservers for multiple DNS domains at once.

You can:

    •    Choose the default Unstoppable nameservers, or

    •    Enter custom nameservers of your choice.

Important: When custom nameservers are set, you cannot edit DNS records in your Unstoppable account until they are switched back to the default nameservers.

This action applies only to DNS domains, not Web3 domains.

3. Edit Forwarding

Change or apply URL forwarding to several domains simultaneously.

Options include:

    •    301 (Permanent) redirect

    •    302 (Temporary) redirect

    •    Seller storefront

    •    For-sale lander

You can also:

    •    Apply the forwarding to the www subdomain, and

    •    Use one of your saved forwarding presets.

Note: Forwarding settings apply only to DNS domains (traditional web domains).

4. Edit Records

Add DNS records (such as A, AAAA, TXT, ALIAS, CNAME, and MX) to multiple domains in one step.

Note: This option applies only to DNS domains.

5. Transfer Out

View which of your domains are eligible for transfer (outside the 60-day ICANN lock period) and request to unlock them for transfer.

Note: This action applies only to DNS domains, not Web3 domains.

6. Transfer Lock

Lock or unlock multiple domains to control whether they can be transferred out to another registrar.

Note: Applies only to DNS domains.

7. Edit Tags

Add or edit tags across multiple domains to organize your portfolio.

You can select existing tags or create new ones.

Works for both DNS and Web3 domains.

8. Remove from Sale

Instantly remove selected domains from being listed for sale on the marketplace.

Applies to both DNS and Web3 domains.

9. List for Sale

List multiple domains for sale in one action.

You can:

    •    Set a fixed price for each domain or apply the same price to all

    •    Enable Lease-to-Own (LTO) and set shared LTO terms

    •    Set an expiration date for listings

    •    View potential revenue

    •    Enable or disable Self-Brokerage Chat

You can also use the Bulk Listing page to upload or paste a CSV file containing domain listing details.

CSV Upload Overview

    •    Download the example CSV to see required headers

    •    Upload or paste your CSV file

    •    Click Validate CSV to see which domains were successfully validated

    •    Proceed to list the valid domains for sale

The bulk listing process supports:

    •    UD-registered domains, and

    •    Externally owned domains (verified via a TXT record at the external DNS provider).

Note: Listing for sale is available for both DNS and Web3 domains.
