How to Request an Emergency Backup
After you create a password for your wallet, an emergency backup is created and sent to your account email address. You'll find a message in your inbox with subject "Welcome to UP.io" which will contain the emergency backup information. If at any time you would like to request a new emergency backup, you can log into your wallet and generate one from the Security Center.
Follow the steps below to generate a new emergency backup from the Security Center.
1. Click on the kebab menu in the top right corner.
2. Select "Security Center"
3. Underneath More Options > Emergency Backup, click on "Create Emergency Backup"

Important Note: Only one emergency backup is valid at a time. The most recent emergency backup will be valid.
