At Unstoppable Domains, you can have a balance or credits applied to your UD account for a number of reasons. There are 3 main types of account credits: Sales Balance, Account Balance, and Promo credits. Below we will break down what each credit type is and what each can be used for.

Sales Balance:

This type of credit is granted to your UD account for:

  1. Domain sales that occur on the UD Marketplace where a wallet is not specified for the payout.
    • For UD Marketplace sales that occur where a wallet is designated for a payout, the funds from the sale will be paid out in USDC on Polygon, not to the Sales Balance.
  2. Affiliate Payouts
    • For domain purchases that were made using your affiliate link, the affiliate payout for the sale will be added to your Sales Balance. This is only applicable to UD Affiliates only.

Your Sales Balance will be able to be directly withdrawn to your own bank account with no withdrawal fees! Your Sales Balance will never expire.

The Sales Balance cannot be used for purchases on the site. However, these credits can be converted to your Account Balance which can be used for purchases on our site.

Account Balance:

This type of credit allows for domainers to deposit funds directly from their bank. These credits can be used to purchase:

  • Web2/DNS domains
  • Web3 domains
  • Secondary sale domains (From the UD Marketplace)

Your Account Balance can be directly withdrawn from your own bank account with a 5% withdrawal fee. Your Account Balance will never expire. Please note, your Account Balance cannot be converted to your Sales Balance.

Promo Credits:

These credits can be granted to your UD account as a part of different promotions or giveaways we may offer from time to time. These credits can be used to purchase domains on our site. These credits do expire. Promo credits have a 90-day expiration from the date that they were issued unless otherwise stated in the promotion they were granted.
